Policy Status : Suggested
That the Govt Repeal the No Smacking law. Treat under common assault with penalties applied that are greater for proven bullies of children

The "No Smacking" law is a lowest common denominator style of law aimed to reduce violence against children. I cannot see so far, that it has had any real affect on outcomes, that the truly disgusting way that some of our people, and parents and caregivers are treating those for whom we should most care, is not changing

Repeal this law, and spend more time and energy increasing awareness and ability to cope with children is abetter answer, through social media, advertising, early childhood education and through life education
