Export of raw materials such as export pine and Minerals must be taken to next possible level in processing.
We see daily, raw materials being exported which can and should be taken to the next level of processing in New Zealand.

In particular, in great quantity, Log exports, but other products too, we should find a way to be able to process at least one further step prior to selling overseas, only to have the buyer do, what we can easily do ourselves

A study to be done to look at exported materials in raw, or relatively raw form, to establish if there is potential for NZ to further process, while still remaining competitive on the international supply market, for the further processed product.
